Easter Bunny - Recycled Throw Away

Our granddaughters spent the night with us this past weekend. I enjoy it so much when they stay. I always try to have some artsy craftsy project for them to work on and I think they expect it. In honor of the upcoming Easter we decided to create some bunnies. A blog I have been following for awhile now had the tutorial for these adorable babies.

Scarlett is such an amazing and creative person. You can see for yourself HERE. This will take you to the directions for this project and if you go to her home page you can see more of her creative ideas. She is a wonderful artist.

My girls decided they wanted a fuzzy bunny, well two of the girls did, so they added cotton balls. Aren't they sweet?

Gracie wanted hers outlined with markers. We added trim around the neck and they used a marker to add the eyes.

Scarlett used some beautiful papers to cover hers. She pointed out how they could be used. Who knew a discarded toilet tissue roll could be so sweet?

I saw these on Scarlet's blog, but didn't pay much attention as I was skimming through so many blogs and wasn't thinking about the grandkids.

Now, seeing what great creations your grands came up with, I'm definitely adding the bunnies to my list of grandkid projects!
