Needle Case Completed

I finally finished a needle case I have been working on. It is about 4" by 4", but oh so many seams. The 'crown' on the peacock is cut from an old piece of jewelry. I replaced the stones with some that were more sparkly. The tail is made with a piece of lace that I dyed and embellished.

I padded it slightly and added cardstock for stability. I made a tiny bow out of 1/8" ribbon to match and added an extra length, sewn in place, for use as a closure.

This shows it open and face down...

Felt 'pages' are added to hold my needles when not in use. I used four pages so that I can separate my beading, sewing, ribbon embroidery and embroidery needles separated.

Here is a close-up look at the back. I added my initial in the corner. Since the pieces were so small it was hard to find a place for more than one letter. I may still add a flower or something to the felt pages...after other UFOs are completed.

Finally, here is a photo of the lovely roses from my DH for my birthday today. I love roses in all colors, and these winter white ones are beautiful.

I guess an actual 'final' is a complaint/concern. Apparently someone decided to use my name 'CEORIGINALS' for use in making comments on YouTube. The comments are not at all nice - and that is an understatement! What is wrong with people? I don't know if there is anything I can do about this. Have any of you? Do you know of any recourse? I was going to do some tutorials down the line and would likely have used my title, but I'm thinking not now! Grrr!

Beautiful needle case and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
I'm sorry you were the victim of stolen identity on YouTube. Some people have no lives and can only be destructive. I pity them. I know you will continue sharing under a different name...unfortunately you have to make the changes because I don't think there is anything you can do about such people.Hang in there and enjoy your Holiday!!!

Hi Connie,
I am so sorry to hear that someone has robbed your name and done nasty stuff with it. Shame on whoever it was. Some people are truly evil!!
Your needle case is exquisite!! I wish I had the time to do more needle work. Right now I am painting the upstairs hallway and stairway. The hallway is finished yeah!!! and tomorrow I will put a second coat on the stairway and paint the woodwork. Then...then!!!! I can begin decorating for Christmas!!!!
Take care of yourself!
Warm hugs, Laura

Happy happy happy birthday to y-o-uuuu!!! Lovely roses and very thoughtful husband! And the needlecase isn't too shabby either! The peacock is gorgeous and what a great idea to use multiple pages for different size needles.

Hello Connie... firstly, thank you for visiting my blog and becoming a follower, that is indeed a lovely surprise. Your work is indeed beautiful, and you have a lovely blog. I am so sorry to hear about your identity use, that is just terrible, I don't know what I'd do, but I'd certainly know how I'd feel... can't give you any advice on that, but have you sent an email to the youTube administrators?? I don't know if they have a way of retrieving user stats... not that it would help, but self-satisfaction at least... Hugs.
