Teacup Tuesday AND Pink Beads

I am combining two items today. For those of you who have seen my past posts, you will recall my March beading challenge was to learn the 'flat triangle stitch'. I had finally gotten the hang of it and wanted to do some more with the little bag. Well I finally completed the bag, lining it, gathering the bottom and adding a tassel and added a sparkly button and bead loop for the closure. I intend to learn some sort of stitch for the handle in one of the upcoming months to totally finish the project. It is also pink, so I felt it was appropriate for Martha's Teacup Tuesday.

I have never taken part in anything like this, so I hope I'm not totally messing up. Below is the teacup I want to share. I loved the daintiness, the shape of it and, well, everything about it. Plus, anything with lovely roses is a winner in my book!

The marking on the bottom is one I had never seen before, so I am afraid I can't tell you a thing about it. If anyone knows anything about it I would love to find out more.

I am excited about this and look forward to what everyone else is sharing! Have a great week! Regards, Connie

P.S. Feel free to set me straight if I am messing up on your blog Martha :-D

The bag and the cup are amazing. What a great job you did on the bag. I used to bead quite a bit so I know your pain!

Wow! I love that tea cup. I looked for it on Ebay and I could not find anything made by that manufacturer. I wish I could, I would love to own one. It is stunning. You did well. Hope you will do it again, next week. I can't wait to see your next treasure. Blessings, Martha
