Candelier Re-do

I thought I would share my before and after of a candelier I designed for a local catalog company. Ivory was always a popular color at the time and to help keep costs down we were unable to use real crystals. Here is the before from one of their catalog pages...

Below are a couple of photos of my "after"...after I bought it, after I spray painted it, after I jazzed it up with some sparkly crystals, and after I hung it in my sun room. I get rainbows everywhere on a nice sunny day! I am so happy with the way it turned out. Black is such a great accent color. I have read that one should add at least one black piece to your room when you decorate. It is so great that anymore you can mix metals, colors and patterns in a room. It is so much more interesting.

It is so easy to paint metal and wire pieces if you aren't happy with the color. I hope this inspires you to paint something to give it a new look!
