Another Crazy Quilt Pillow Completed

This is one (of two) of the Christmas blocks I had created a couple of years ago.  I finally got around to creating a pillow with it.  It feels good getting some of these projects made into actual items.

Christmas is over for now, so I'll probably put this elsewhere until Christmas 2014.  My next project will be a green and lavender Christmas pillow I created around the same time.

Here are some close-ups...

Below is the postcard image.  I stitched a wreath around the center oval layering multiple green shades of floss.

The candle was made using a piece of red metallic ribbon with metallic gold edges.  I love how my little row of angels turned out.  I created them using tiny pearls for the heads and simple stitches for the remainder, lazy daisy wings and gowns.

Little red beads created the berries and the stars are simply star shaped beads.

Chickadee is an applied embroidered piece I had in my stash.

Two pillows to go!

What a fascinating cushion to look at! I specially like the way you have combined the Christmas fabrics and the detailed Christmassy embroidery.

I can not think of any words to describe just how beautiful your cushion work is. I could easily rave about every single one.

The cushion is Perfect on that chair.

I once read these words
"Each of my eyes is jealous of the other for seeing such beauty"
That might cover it.
