BJP for November

This month's bead embroidery is probably one of the more complex and difficult (for me at least) thus far.  Here it is shown with the inspiration piece of lace.

I started off with six rows of tiny chain stitches using a single strand of thread.

I just started adding beads and going back numerous times to align them and below is a closeup of the finished section.  As you can see I found more of the ivory beads which I really do prefer.

It looks really beautiful, Connie! Definitely worth the extra effort. :)

I think it looks so much softer in the ivory than in white.....perhaps it just looks a little more vintage that way.....
Lovely design.

I think it looks much softer in the ivory than the bright white......maybe it looks more vintage and that's the appeal....
Lovely design.

Wow I am in awe of your beautiful beaded lace you have stitched from the lace inspiration. Ivory is definitely the soft vintage look. Blissful Stitching...

I'm catching up on my blog reading (as you can see by the way my comments are coming in bunches) and was totally mesmerized by the 'littles' in your last post and THEN I saw this beaded lace and wow, just wow.

Incredibly gorgeous. My only regret is not being able to see it in person!

Your beaded lace needs to be in a book... it's fabulous, all of them! But this one is the best so far. I'm in awe of your precision and talent for selecting the essential elements in the lace to be represented with beads.

I hope you'll be joining us again next year, as I find your work very inspirational! BTW, did you notice you have a couple of comments on your BJP page post.
