Crystal Grouped for Centerpiece That Sparkles

I am so done with winter and with the signs of spring I decided to brighten up my dining room with some sparkle. I grouped several of my crystal pieces in the center of the table, added some sort of spring colored candles and let the sunshine do the rest.

The candles I had stored away and the silk flowers you may recognize from the first block I created for CQJP 2012 Keys to the Past series. If you missed it, you can click on the CQJP tab at the top of my blog. The piece holding the flowers and 3 candles and the two matching candle sticks were from my mom. The two taller, fluted candlesticks with the wine colored candles were brought home from Germany. We visited a little shop within the home of some friends of our relative in Germany. I have such fond memories of those wonderful people who made us feel at home and welcome, even showing us the shop area where he created his beautiful pieces. The other pieces were garage sale finds as was the runner they are on.

C'mon spring! Hurry! Aren't you (on this side of the earth anyway) ready for some warm, sunny days?
