Pink Saturday with a little Inspiration mixed in!

Happy Pink Saturday! This is my first. I decided this morning to share some of my pink with you. The first is a necklace I designed using beads from a broken piece of jewelry and some newer beads and clasp...

Those of you who are familiar with my blog probably know I was a product designer. Below is a tealight I had designed (forgive the crazy pumpkin candle, but it smelled so wonderful)...

And these are a couple of metal napkin rings I designed...

This time of year there are so many beautiful flowers blooming. Here is a rose from my garden...

A poppy...

Peonies. I love their scent! This is from last year. Mine are just on the verge of blooming now and I can't wait!...

Bleading Hearts...

Finally, a poem sent to me via email. It's a shame the authors are never given on some of the beautiful poems that get sent around in mass mailings. It's just a little reminder not to rush through life. I hope you enjoy it.

The Poem

I knelt to pray but not for long,

I had too much to do.

I had to hurry and get to work

For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,

And jumped up off my knees..My Christian duty was now done

My soul could rest at ease......All day long I had no time

To spread a word of cheer

No time to speak of Christ to friends,

They'd laugh at me I'd fear..

No time, no time, too much to do,

That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need

But at last the time, the time to die

I went before the Lord,

I came, I stood with downcast eyes.

For in his hands God held a book;

It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said'

Your name I cannot find

I once was going to write it down...

But never found the time'
