Chunky Blue Necklace

Chunky necklaces seem to be pretty popular right now. I've had these blue stone like beads for some time now and decided to try making a choker with a little more substance as opposed to the more delicate pieces I have made. I used small gold beads from an old necklace as spacer beads. I wanted the large beads to be the focus since they are such a beautiful color of blue. I didn't make any earrings to go with this necklace. The blue beads would be too heavy and the gold spacers would look too tiny for the necklace. I would recommend simple gold earrings with posts or hoops. Almost any gold earrings would coordinate nicely.
