One of my favorite things to collect is perfume bottles. Any color, any size, any style and I am hooked. I thought I would get away from the CQ blocks for a minute and share my collection. Some are gifts from special people, some are mementos from trips, and some are just bottles I couldn't resist.
Above I have one from China that is painted inside and also a small perfume bottle from the World's Fair in Germany which we attended I believe in 2001/2002.
This set is Vaseline glass. One of the stoppers (on the right) is damaged but I still think it is a beautiful set. Maybe one day I can have a glass blower friend try to fix it.
I love the color of the tall one on the right.
I tend to be drawn to glass bottles on decorative metal bases also, like the two above.
I have several clear glass perfume bottles, some antique and some new. I just purchased a dresser set with two perfume bottles, a vanity jar and a tray. I will be picking it up after Ragbrai. Then to find a place for it...
I couldn't resist this little set even though the lid was missing.
My son was married in the Bahamas and I had to pick up this sea shell shaped set while there as a memento of the occasion. I also have a similar set from a trip to Cancun.
More of my clear set. Love the large decorative stoppers.
Had to have this trinket box with hidden bottle.
Some of the small bottle collections I couldn't resist along with a long-stemmed single rose perfume bottle.
And, of course, what would any perfume bottle collection be without a couple of iridescent pink bottles.
These are a few of my favorite things. Anyone else out there collect perfume bottles? What is your favorite collectible?

Oh how beautiful your perfume bottle collection is. I adore perfume bottles probably because I am a girly girl. I do have a few but nothing truly special. My Aunt had a Lalique perfume bottle that I loved but someone acquired it without permission. If a collection is three or more of the same type item then I have way too many collections to list. Creative Bliss...
what an amazing collection you have here, impossible to pick a favourite. I collected Royal Doulton figures, have 44 but am seriously thinking of dispersing with them as I would love to downsize ans be more miminalist
They're very lovely, Connie, no wonder you enjoy collecting them so much.
In a funny contrast, I'm trying to use up as many of my perfumes (one of which is about 30 years old!) at the mo so as to reduce my stuff. Who knows, maybe one or two of the bottles might interest you one day!!!=)
Your collection is lovely. Especially like the clear set....the one in the middle is very Art Deco.
OH... Connie your collection is amazing, I can see your artist soul in this collection too. I would not be able to make a choice of which one I like more they all are lovely.
You have an enviable collection! I never wear perfume so have never had any sort of bottles around. I collect books about embroidery, which take up FAR more space than perfume bottles!
Thank you all for such nice comments! I need to downsize some things but not ready to downsize the perfume bottles or my art and craft supplies yet. Elizabeth, keep me in mind when the time comes. Mary Ann, most of these are just decorative and didn't come with perfume. I don't wear much either, knowing many people are allergic to the scent. Margaret, I hope you post your Royal Doulton collection on your blog one day. It would be nice to see.
Fabulous collection! An amazing array of shapes and sizes...
Oh dear! what an amazing collection! had fun by looking at your collection. My mother loves perfume bottles and she has collected some but not as many as yours :)
WOW! What a gorgeous collection! I always find it amazing to learn what other Crazy Quilters collect. I myself collect cobalt and talavera.
Glad you all enjoyed viewing my collection. I have been at it quite a few years and really don't buy much anymore, but I do look and drool a lot. NickiLee, I had to look up talavera. I've seen this pottery but didn't know the name. It's beautiful.
