My Final BJP for 2012

A little snowflake for Winter.  I decided to create a snowflake to finish off the year of bead embroidery for 2012.  I live in the Midwest and we normally have a white Christmas, but no snow as of today.  There are still a few days until the holiday is here.

I actually think this is my favorite so far.  I made this up as I went along.  This year has been very instrumental in building my confidence in creating lace with bead embroidery, especially with all of the thoughtful and encouraging comments I have received.  Thank you to each of you that have been so kind and I want you to know each comment has meant a lot to me.  I have learned that patience is a key element and that rushing the project along is not an option.

I have decided to create a banner with my BJP, and I will be starting on that as soon as I can.  I just finished up the face of my CQJP 2012 and still have a couple of TAST tags to do.

It is hard to believe a year has passed already.  I have chosen not to participate in BJP 2013, but do encourage you to.  It has been a very good experience for me and seeing what the others have created has been very inspiring.  I will be following along to see the new beading next year and will more than likely do some beading myself.  Thank you to all who made BJP 2012 a reality and all the participants for sharing your work!
