Crazy Quilt Blocks Pieced

Finally getting started on a new crazy quilt piece. I'm not sure this is the order I will leave the blocks. I think I will embellish them before I make the final decision. Piecing the blocks is probably my least favorite part, but now that I have done that I am excited to get started on the fun part.

We have a couple of trips planned for July and I wanted to get something prepared to take with me so I can work on the project in the car and on the plane. The size of the individual blocks makes it easy to work on. I can't wait to get started as it is always so much fun to see how different the blocks look once they have been stitched.

I'm with you on the piecing Connie, I'm always anxious to get to the stitching myself! Hope to see pictures as you go along, have fun on your trip!

It's lovely! I also make up small kits and take along simple projects when we travel. I like to keep busy and productive. We will be taking a 10-day trip starting on the 29th so next week I will be getting things together. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Tammy

I suppose it's my 'sane' background but I love the piecing. You certainly did a great job. It will be good to see this in progress and finished.
