Valentine Jewelry

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day! I decided this would be a good time to share some of the 'heart' jewelry I have created. Some you have seen on past posts.

This first one was created for a contest at Delphi. I didn't win, but it was fun using some new product I hadn't previously tried and trying something new always expands your creativity. I also incorporated some old jewelry pieces including the copper scrolls on either side forming the top of the heart which were a pair of old earrings, reshaped. Also some of the rhinestones and the center oval were taken from some old broken jewelry.

This necklace was made totally from old jewelry beads and components (with the exception of the wire). I love the sparkle and the champagne color.

The necklace below is made from tiny seed beads. The design is my own original and the original necklace was made as a gift for a sweet relative in Germany that we were going to visit. Although I don't have the same last name as her, I had the same initial and decided to make one for myself.

And lastly is a necklace I made from both new and old parts and pieces. The black crystals are taken from a vintage necklace that had fallen to pieces. The focal beads are new carved Cinnabar beads.

I hope your Valentine's Day is full of hearts! Connie

Connie, that first necklace should have won!!! It is beautiful. I like the rest also, but the first one is my favorite.

You also did a great job on the little amulet bag for the relative in Germany. I also do the peyote stitch beading. I know what work went into those!

Great work!
