I finally completed my heart for the swap at Mosaic Magpie. There is still a little time if you want to be included. The link for the Heart Swap is on my sidebar. This is my first swap and I am so excited to see which one comes in the mail to me! Don't tell Debbie, but there is a little surprise in the box for her too.
I am getting so close to finishing up my CQ projects from 2010. As most of you know, I am a newbie and have gone crazy for Crazy Quilting. I am especially excited that I have found a way to mix my love of watercolor painting, genealogy and beading into the CQ so I don't have to necessarily make a decision which one I will work in. I plan to do a lot more painting, however, in this new year. I have plans to do a painting of the church I went to for many years. It is part of my heritage as well. My great grandfather was one of the charter members and so many family occasions have been centered around the church, some happy and some sad. Before I get into that I have a few bead challenges to complete and two more to face. I have all my ducks in a row and I'm pushing on so I can start fresh with no guilt about finishing up UFOs.
Have a great week!
