Thought I would share some more images of items I have designed...

Above is a Victorian style scissors in a sheath. I designed the handles to the scissors as well as the sheath.

The item above is cast iron. It is used as hot pad. You can place your hot pans, a hot iron and other items on it to protect the tabletop. Rubber pads were added to prevent scratching the counter or table.

Finally, this is a note holder made to look like an old window. The drawer pull at the bottom and hooks on either side are metal while the window frame is wood. Doesn't it inspire you to make one of your own out of an old window and discarded hardware? The panes could be filled with mirror, cork board, or metal to act as a magnet. Leave the glass in and add a decorative backing, using the glass as a dry erase board. Lots of possibilities here!
