The two necklaces shown above were made with found and with recycled objects. I found a rusty washer along the road, sealed it and incorporated it into the first necklace, left, as a pendant (see close-up image). I really liked the texture and rich color. Parts of the chain were made with 18 gauge copper wire. The second necklace, right, also includes a washer, copper wire and an old spring. The pendant on this necklace incorporates a discarded earring to add texture. On both necklaces I have used stone beads taken from a necklace I had dismantled. These were fun necklaces to make and I have received very encouraging comments from those who have seen them up close.
