On the Road Again (with more of my CQJP 2013 blocks)

As posted previously, I was creating a mini CQ with my CQJP2013 blocks.  I needed to do four a month since they were approx. 3 1/2" square each.  I didn't need all 48 blocks for my mini CQ, so got half way through July and finished the mini quilt.

I did finish about a half dozen additional blocks which I haven't sent in photos yet and haven't made into anything.  We are going on another road trip and I decided to piece the remainder of my required blocks to work on while on the road.  I think I am finished up to September so far, maybe the middle of September.  I still don't know what I am going to make with these remaining blocks, but I am into finishing what I started mode right now.  I'm taking baby steps.  When the blocks are all stitched I hope to have inspiration for completing some project(s) with them.

So my blocks, needle, floss and scissors are packed and ready to go.  We leave soon for Oklahoma City, OK, Albuquerque, NM and then to Arizona.  We are hoping to find some warm weather and sunshine while we are there.  I'm not sure exactly when we will head home, but that is the great thing about retirement.

Hope your days are filled with sunshine!

Oh My I never realized how tiny the squares are that you stitch with such beautiful decorative seam treatments. Safe Travels...

I also didn't realize how small these blocks were - great project! I can see lots of stitching on this road trip. Have fun!

Hi Connie! I am trying to get around and visit and say hi to those I have not seen here lately. I remember talking with you about some earrings I purchased that were handmade and pinching my ears. You said they could be de designed. Since I am clueless can you help me. They are little cameos that are posts. Love all your creative talent here. Hugs, Anne
