Here is my August bead pattern. My beading projects are constructed of seed beads in a pattern to resemble lace. Some of the designs will include a small amount of embroidery floss. For this month I decided to use only the beads.
The following photo shows the inspiration lace edging I used. What do you think? I see things I could have done differently. This one was a little difficult for me for some reason, but I am pretty satisfied with it.
It amazes me when I have each months images together (as I do under the BJP tab above), how differently the coloring is depending on the lighting I use. I guess you will have to trust me that these are all created on the same fabric and with beads from the same hank...in case you were wondering ~ lol.

Wow your sead bead lace is exquisite. It completly resembles the actual fabric lace. Stitchilicous...
I find it so hard to believe each time I see one of your beaded laces that they are actually made of beads. They look far too delicate. Lovely!
This one is my favorite! Just stunningly beautiful! You should put that on one of your CQJP blocks.
Absolutely fabulous, Connie! I can just see it on the bodice of a wedding gown........
So pretty, it looks very much like your lace sample!
Oh this is just so beautiful! I wish I could make one too...drool...
Thank you all. This has been a real learning experience for me.
Oh wow! this beaded lace is gorgeous! I have some very old lace like this that is tiny black beads. I can't imagine the patience to do this.
Beautiful!
