I have learned from experience to finish the ends off with cones. The wires wrapped on the ends can work themselves loose and start to poke the person wearing the necklace. I also like to, as an added bonus, add an extension (like this chain) on the end of my necklaces whenever possible so the length can be adjusted as needed to accommodate the neckline. I added a matching bead at the end of this extension chain to help give it a finished and professional look.

Looks perfect! I've never tried crocheting with wire - looks like it would be fun.
That necklace is just stunning! Whomever is getting it will be bowled over! I like the etherial look of it, Connie, and can see it with a low cut black dress. Or red!
You surely do beautiful work and anyone would love to own this necklace! Bravo!
I can't begin to imagine how hard it is to crochet metal, Its gorgeous and I'm sure she will love it!

This is oh so lovely. I have done a little crocheting with wire. I have a huge spool of fine nickel wire that DH gave me from his workshop. You've got me wanting to do some more work with it. I had found a book in the library and it was great. I like your idea of using the cones. I'm really a novice, so seeing your work is inspiring.

Connie, this is beautiful. It is so delicate looking, I would have never thought it to be wire. I love the fact it is adjustable too!
