Two Weeks of TAST in One Tree

Not many trees left to do.  I wasn't going to do one last week but SOMEBODY was putting pressure on me, so I cheated just a tad and combined two weeks of stitches.

The wording took more time than stitching the actual tree, which by the way I refer to as the "Tree of Love".  I know, lol,  that was lame.  My mind was referring to last weeks stitch as the buttonhole wheel combo with the bullion.  But then I looked at the name given and it is actually called a buttonhole eyelet flower, or in this case heart.  The outer red stitches are the berry stitch.  I really could have saved a lot of writing had I been paying attention.

We are having a Christmas dinner tomorrow.  It has been fairly warm here and we are still in somewhat of a draught, so it is difficult to feel very festive.  We did get most of our Christmas shopping done this afternoon.  We don't buy nearly as much as we used to.  Tomorrow I will try to get them wrapped and then get some food prepared to take for dinner at my daughters.

This is my very favorite tree you have stitched. The little heart at the center is just precious. Stitching Bliss...

this is a lovely tree I think one of my favourites you have done.
I expect you busy now with your Christmas dinner, have a lovely time, not sure why you are having it today and if you are having a practise run for the 25th.

Awesome! That's the best one yet. I love hearts. I did the same as you and missed the eyelet part of the name. Maybe it refers to the hole created while stitching, I don't know. Thought your name was more accurate! My berries just look like fat daisy stitches..... Great job!

Oh oh - are you referring to moi? Well, I have to say that the nagging bore fruition because just look at what you did (and if the other comments are any indication, everybody else must be happy too). Enjoy your dinner!
