TAST - Arrow or Arrowhead Stitch

Another pretty simple TAST stitch this week called either Arrow or Arrowhead Stitch.  I think it is pretty obvious where the name came from.  It is basically straight stitching.  I managed to translate it into different types of trees pretty effortlessly this week.

Below is a pretty basic cluster of pine trees.  I think it would have worked better to use a variety of green threads rather than one variegated thread, but I do have bits and pieces of thread I would like to use up this year yet.

The one below is probably my favorite of the two.  I've always wanted a purple Christmas tree *wink*.  I normally am pretty strict about using only the week's stitch on the related tag so there is no confusion what stitch fits the name and how it looks 'naked', but this tree called for embellishment so I added some French knots using a variegated thread.

Only four Tuesdays to go this year with one of them being my birthday and another being Christmas.

This is such a fun and easy looking stitch. Your purple tree is beautiful and the pastel french knots are tres chic. Blissful...

Only four more? You've outdone yourself with these - my favourite is the purple one too.
