TAST and Changes for TAST 2013

TAST 2012 is nearing its final weeks.  Whatever will you have to look forward to without my trees ~ lol?  In the meantime here is another tree.  I kind of rolled my eyes and sighed when I saw this upcoming stitch.  However, once I tried it I did kind of like it and definitely feel I will use it again in a project at some point.  Of course it did make for a pretty easy tree...being a "leaf" stitch and all.

I was going to do a fall color as so many of the trees around here are barely clinging to their last sign of life, but instead I felt in the mood for a new spring tree...just planted...just leafing out and on its way to becoming something big, strong and beautiful.  I love fall but I'm already looking forward to spring, if that makes any sense.  The trunk of this tree looks a little scrawny, so I think I will go in and give this tree a little more girth in the trunk...later.

Many of you may have already heard, but Sharon (PinTangle Blog) has decided to continue TAST through 2013, adding even more new stitches.  I won't be doing any more trees after TAST 2012 comes to a close, but may try something a bit simpler with TAST 2013 to add the stitches to my reference pile.  To read Sharon's plans for next year, click HERE.  If you want to expand your stitch vocabulary, please jump in and join the fun.

What?! No trees in 2013?!!
Dang. I like your trees, Connie.
Anyway, your woven picot leaves are wonderful.
It's snowing outside, so I'm looking forward to spring, too!

we will miss your trees, I am sure you will come up with a replacement though, your latest tree is great, nice to be reminded of spring now we are heading for winter, think it has already arrived here in my house, it seems very cold this morning, oh yes just checked the temperature, below freezing.

Your latest tree is beautiful. I hope you are not serious, saying no more trees next year. I love trees.
