Connie Eyberg Originals is a blog about creating - learning new techniques, sharing ideas and trying new mediums. I hope you will join me in my journey to find what inspiration may be just around the corner!
Another week for TAST. I hope you aren't getting too tired of seeing these. This weeks stitched was rather unique. It is a combo of two chain stitches side-by-side followed by a twisted chain, alternating these along the path.
There's no way I would ever be tired of seeing these! I am always amazed by the way you can make each stitch into a perfect tree. It would be fun, at the end of the year, to see them all side by side.
You are all so nice! I will keep posting then ~ lol. Maureen, I am probably going to connect my tags with rings and hang them on pegs for easy reference access. I also think it would be fun to maybe teach some embroidery and would use these for use in the classroom. MA, I will try to get a group photo of them at the end of the year. I do have them all together as individual photos if you click on the "TAST" tab near the top of this blog. Marjolein, I love variegated thread too. It is always fun to see how it affects the pattern and is interesting to work with.
Love your latest trees, Connie, especially the one with the fall color. Your quilt block is wonderful, too! Have you read The Language of Flowers? It's a good read, and the flower "dictionary" in the back is terrific.

Love your tree Connie and your tags. Neat way to keep the stitches for handy reference.
I presume you will link them together.
Thanks for the visit.

Don't worry, I'll never get tired of seeing your trees.
