TAST - Up and Down Buttonhole Tag

I've been in Colorado this past week with my hubby and granddaughters, having a great time.  I fortunately am an early riser and was able to get quite a bit of stitch time in during the quiet early morning hours.  I completed my tag for TAST, including another tree.  I enjoyed this stitch and like the pattern it makes which could be useful as a fill stitch.  So many possibilities and so little time.

This is a great tag Connie. Another lovely tree, and I love the stitched band across the top. Such variety. The long and short U/D is very interesting. It creates a lovely pattern.
I hope you had a wonderful time with your granddaughters in Colorado.

Very nicely done with the variegated thread. I love variegated thread! I love the tree, too, and the bit across the top. Neat idea.
I'm sure you had a fun time with your granddaughters!

I look forward to seeing your latest tree and how you manage to incorporate it with the stitch. Another nice one!
