Out of Space!

Well friends, it seems I have run out of space to post images on my blog.  Now I need to decide whether to go through and delete some of my previous posts/photos, upgrade to purchase more posting space or...?   I tried opening another blog to post my images to and transfer them as some of you had mentioned, but apparently all the blogs are under one account?  This is so out of my realm of knowledge.

A little warning would have been nice Mr. Blogger!  I am too busy right now to deal with this and it will have to wait until I get back from  vacation.

In the meantime, how have those of you experiencing the same situation dealt with it?  I am seeking advice here (pretty please).  Is it easy to cancel your "additional space" once you purchase it or is it something you have to pay until you close your blog(s)?

Here is what I was able to load before being so rudely interrupted by Blogger.

Bonnet Stitch Tag (sorry, no close-ups for details)

Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson now have their rightful name (details on a previous block)

I did delete a couple of posts that had several photos trying to get more photos loaded too, but it still wouldn't let me load more.

I went thru and deleted non essential photos and even some non essential posts. I'm nowhere near the limit, but it was time to spring clean the blog anyway. Non essential to me was just closeups that someone can see by clicking the photo anyway or cutesy pictures from the web that illustrated a post.

I had that problem too - and went through and went to the trouble of deleting a whole bunch of stuff from my blog but it didn't make a whit of difference. Finally resorted to coughing up the cost (all of $5 if I remember correctly) and will wait & see what happens next year.

What a trouble to have to go around deleting things and then have it not make any difference. It would have been nice to have some type of warning telling you were near your limit.

I haven't had any experience with this (and hope I don't!)
Hope you get it all worked out.

Oh no Connie! I know my time is coming soon. I know theres someplace where you can check the space you have left but darn if I can't remember where it is.
I believe the new space is $5.00 a year. not to bad really

After only two months of blogging I was shocked when I learned I had already used 5% of my space! But then I realized that it would still take me 3 years to use it all.

Since then I've been reducing the size of my photos, which I think helps a lot. They don't have to be much bigger than they appear on the blog.

You could start all over again with a new Gmail account and a new blog. But you know, if it really is only $5 a year for more space, I would do that, because you have a good thing going here!

How alarming to suddenly run out of space! I'd love to hear your solution because my blog is also on Blogspot. I hope you get it sorted out without too much trouble so we can keep on reading your lovely blog. Enjoy your holiday.

I was at my limit and couldn't decide on what to delete so I bought more space. It isn't expensive and solves your problem fast.

When this happened to me I decided I really liked blogging and would continue, so I purchased additional space, and I think it was only 5 or 10 dollars.
