Week 13 of TAST is sort of a work in progress (WIP). I was out of town and had a lot to catch up on, so didn't really add much to my tag but definitely wanted to have something...a tree.
I wasn't going to add more but then Debra on our Tuesday Stitchers blog posted her block showing how she couched using satin stitching. It really caught my eye and I wanted to be sure to remember to try that on a future CQ block, so I have since added a couched ribbon with dark brown satin stitching along the upper part of my tag.
I co-author the Tuesday Stitchers blog with a wonderful group of stitchers from Canada, Australia, England and various parts of the USA taking part in TAST and/or CQJP. There is lots of eye candy on the blog, so pop on over for a visit. We would love to have your input. New work is posted every Saturday and Sunday through the remainder of the year.

This turned out great Connie. I'm going over to check out the tast blog.
Now here's one I actually know. I can remember my mother showing me this stitch. The ribbon looks great!
I'm always interested to see how you integrate a tree into your tag each time. This one is great!
That tree looks magnificent. Well done!
